Our big event this week here at the FMM ELL Centre is the Heritage Day - organized by the McGivney International Circle (MIC). It will be held this coming Friday May 30th during period 3.

With the support of SEPYR's Logini, the MIC will be presenting displays, presentations, games, and other activities to celebrate the vibrant cultures of our ELL Community. Food will also be shared. Mmmmmm good!

Semester 2, Week 15 - Happy Victoria Day!

We hope you had a great Victoria Day with your family and friends, but now it's back to work.

In just 4 weeks, In-class Exams begin, and Formal Exams begin the week after on June 18th.

So this is not a time to relax. It's never too late to begin studying and working hard.

Make sure to complete your assignments, CPT's, PBL's, and start reviewing for Exams if you have not done so already.

Have great week!

Semester 2, Week 12 - Stand Up to Cancer

It was a wonderful night last Thursday meeting all of the parents, family members, and guardians that took the time to visit us for Parent/Teacher Interviews. We appreciate your interest, support, and we will work together to serve the best interests of your children/young adults.

As we wrap up the month April, the Stand Up to Cancer Club is selling daffodil pins all week in the atrium. The daffodil pin is a symbol of strength and courage. It states that we will fight against cancer and we will win! The money raised in the sale of these pins will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Upcoming Events for ELL:

May 14 - Arts Night (a 10 minute performance organized by MIC).

* We are looking or anyone interested in being part of the performance. We will begin practicing during A Lunch and Friday after school.

Have a great week!
