Semester 2, Week 12 -- Five Day's For Freedon

We are busy in the ELL Department getting ready for this important week of awareness of the role of internationalism and social justice as it fits within the framework of our school community.

The McGivney International Circle (MIC) and the rest of the our ELL students will have a leading role in in two specific events:

Tuesday May 1 - ELL Diversity Displays in the Atrium during Period 3

Friday May 4 - MIC Fashion Show in the Cafeteria during 'A' and 'C' Lunch.

The entire week is packed with activities and interesting guest speakers. Most notably, Thursday's Freedon Day Assembly, which is sure to inspire and excite all involved.

Semester 2, Week 11 - Bullying Prevention Week

First, let us start with a reminder that on this Thursday April 26, it will be Parent/Teacher Interview Night from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Please make sure to book an appointment with your teachers to ensure you have a reserved time.

Also, all this week is designated at Bully Prevention Week. All students are invited to participate the various school activities.

Finally, congratulations goes out to our two ELL Teams that raised money and participated in our school's first Inside Ride. As a school we raised over $15 000! You are all incredible. Check out some of the pictures below:

Semester 2, Week 10

The week is Healthy Living Week at FMM.
There will be a variety of activities going on thanks to the Student Government, SAC and the Nutrition Club.

Report Cards will be distributed on Thursday April 19. Students will return to their home rooms at the end of the day to receive these to take home. All Parents and Guardians should expect the report cards to come home that day and appointment sheets will be included so that you can book a Parent/Teacher Interview.

Parent/Teacher Interviews will occur on Thursday April 26 from 5:30-8:30pm.

The Inside Ride also takes place on Thursday April 19 from 9:55am to 1pm.

Semester 2, Week 9 - Inside Ride

Welcome back! We hope you all had a great Easter Celebration and valuable time with your families and friends.

We are right back at it with lots of school activities and mid-term mark evaluations.

With the Inside Ride happening next week - Thursday April 19, if you are not particpating, we are requesting that you support our ELL Team and pledge your support for their fundraising efforts towards Children and Families with Cancer.

Semester 2, Week 8 - Holy Week

This is a very solemn week for Catholics and our school community.

A reminder that there will not be any classes on Good Friday (April 6), and Easter Monday (April 9).

We wish you all a Happy Easter! Make sure to celebrate and appreciate this special time in the Christian calendar and the time with your families.
