Semester 2, Week 1 - Welcome to Semester 2!
Welcome to Semester 2!
For our graduating students, this will be your last 5 months with us. Please make the best of it, but the work is not complete until you pick up your graduation diploma in June. We look forward to that day.
As you pick up your schedules and go to your classes, please see Mr Hospedales in Room 327 if you have any issues that you need assistance with.
All students need to make sure that the full school uniform is being worn for all classes. Failure to do so will result in being sent to the office and eventually being sent home to change. Please make sure you have all parts of your school uniform. If you need clarity please ask your teachers.
We do have some sad news to report, and that is our settlement worker - Julie, will no longer be with us. She will be moved to assist at some other schools in our area. Julie has been an extremely valuable member of our ELL Community and we will miss her immensely. Thanks for everything you've done for us Julie!
Have a great week everyone!

Semester 1, Week 19 - Exam mode begins, the last week of Semester 1
We are in the final week of semester one.
For many of you, your in-class exams take place over the next four days, and the Formal Exams begin on Friday January 24th and go until Wednesday January 29th (Thursday January 30th if necessary due to bad weather).
If you think school might be closed due to bad weather, do not call the school. It may take a while to get through. The quickest way to get information is to visit Father McGivney on Twitter. We will have the announcement and all details there.
You can also visit:
YCDSB on Twitter
Make sure you arrive to school in full uniform to write your exams. Check your schedules and with your teachers about your exam dates and times.
Something new this year is an Exam Review day on Friday January 31st.
One this date, you can schedule a time to meet with your teachers during the day to go over your exam and review the results. A letter will be sent home today (Monday January 20).
And one final note:
Best of luck on your exams!
