The Final Week of Semester 1 (2011/2012)

As you all know, it is the final week of Semester 1 at FMM and we are all busy completing assignments, and preparing for exams.

Many exams start this week so we should ALL be in "Exam Mode." There is no time to waste.

As always, extra help is available in the ELL Centre at all times and especially after school.

Since exams are in progress, you must not come to the Centre to eat, or socialize during Period 3. Make sure consume your lunch in the cafeteria. You may enter for quiet study ONLY once you have eaten.

Semester 2 resumes on Monday February 6. On this day you will re-visit your semester 1 classes for 15 minutes to see your exams, then after 4 rotations, you will go to your new semester 2 classes.

Two Weeks Left in Semester 1

If you haven't figured it out yet, it is time get serious about your schoolwork.

In class exams begin on Friday January 20th and all of next week. The formal exam schedule begins on Friday January 27 - the day after the last day of classes on Thursday January 26.

If you have any Library books, please return them by January 25.

Welcome back and Happy 2012 to Everyone!

We only have 3 weeks left so things will be busy for everyone.

You should be completing assignments, CPT's, and preparing for Exams.

The formal exams period officially begins on Friday January 27. But in class exams will begin as early as this Friday.

All students need to look at the Exam Schedule and submit your requests to Mr. Hospedales regarding your intent to write your exams in Room 327.

The MIC group will be organizing Exam tutoring and group study sessions after school in preparation for exams. Please pay attention to announcements and poster in Room 327 for details. We will also host a Resume and Cover Letter workshop next week during lunch periods - please ask the ELL teachers for details.
